The International Style is the “English” form of partner dancing and is often pursued after building a foundation in American Style. While it most commonly associated with competitive dancing, many dancers also enjoy these dances in social settings
International Style is divided into two categories:
- Standard – which includes the Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep.
- Latin– which includes Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, and Jive
This style emphasizes precision, technique, and elegant movement, making it a favorite for dancers looking to refine their skills and explore the global ballroom community.
