in mind that, as the wedding gets closer, you will be busy and may not have as much time
as you would like to prepare.

The Dancing Feeling instructors will choreograph your special wedding dance to your
wedding song. You will cherish your dance video for years to come!

We encourage our wedding couples to learn a few of the basics in other dances that your
band or DJ will play. These dances will provide a lifetime of fun for you and your future
spouse! After the wedding you can still enjoy what you have learned through social
dancing together…holding each other in your arms dancing for the rest of your lives!

Start with our $70 Wedding Consultation. It gives us a chance to meet you, learn about your wedding and your
goals, get you dancing a little, and recommend the best lesson plan for your first dance.

Your Wedding Consultation is a relaxed way for us to learn about you, your wedding, and what you envision for
your first dance. We’ll talk about your song, your timeline, your experience level, and the style of dance you
would like.
We even get you up for a short lesson to get you started, see how you move together, and get you comfortable
with some of the basics. It’s a fun way to experience what lessons will be like and helps us recommend the best
approach for you.

There’s no one right time to start. It really depends on what you want for your first dance. A simple, comfortable
dance may require less preparation, while a more polished or choreographed routine may take more time. We’ll
help you create a plan that fits your vision, your schedule, and the time you have before your wedding.

Most of our wedding couples are beginners. We’ll start wherever you are and make the experience comfortable and fun.

If you already have a song, bring it with you. If you’re still deciding, we can help you determine what will work
well for the type of dance you envision.

Some couples want a beautifully choreographed first dance, while others simply want to feel comfortable, look
natural, and enjoy dancing together. We’ll tailor your lessons to what feels right for you.

Every couple is different. The number of lessons depends on your goals, your song, how elaborate or simple you
want your dance to be, and how much time you have before the wedding. After meeting you, we can
recommend a plan that makes sense for you.

That’s very common! Our instructors are patient and encouraging, and we specialize in making beginners feel
comfortable. You don’t have to be a “dancer” to have a wonderful first dance.

We can also help with father-daughter dances, mother-son dances, wedding party dances, or other special
dances you would like to include in your celebration.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. For shoes, choose something comfortable that stays
secure on your feet (leather- or smooth-soled shoes work best; avoid flip-flops or heavy rubber soles). As your
wedding gets closer, we encourage you to bring your actual wedding shoes to practice in!
